Still gloom, doom and grey skies everywhere but a glimmer of something nice happened yesterday. I noticed a post a few days ago from Caldey Island in Pembrokeshire asking for local artists to submit their works for possible inclusion in the Caldey Island shop and a couple of my pieces have been chosen. Just in the process of ordering prints and designing a new logo for my work and will post more information once I have it. My links with Caldey go back to my childhood and my brother lives in nearby Tenby on the mainland. Caldey is a private monastic island just off the coast of Pembrokeshire which is opened to the public during the Summer months. In my opinion there is nowhere more beautiful and peaceful in the world. Many of my artworks have been of this special place and the Pembrokeshire region.
